Caterers Club provide insurance for the mobile catering industry and approached us to create a new version of an insurance quote engine that wasn’t working particularly well due to poor input validation and a dis-jointed payment system.

To ensure the supplied quote is reliable and doesn’t require subsequest telephone conversations to ‘clean-up’ the data, the information input is validated extensively, or choices are limited to pull-down menues. Address information is input using a postcode validation service from PostcodeAnywhere.

Once the quote is complete a confirmation is sent via email and should a site user choose to accept, the quote engine will pass the user through the HSBC Bank payment gateway. After a successful payment has been made the quote engine will generate the insurance documentation.
